Optimization and effect of dielectric fluid with Zr and Ni on electrical discharge machining of die steel material

چکیده

This present work is aimed to optimize the machining parameters and study effect of powder mixed dielectric fluid on EDM process. TOPSIS method optimization adopted identify optimal parameters. HCHCr die steel preferred as material. Ni, Zr Ni+Zr were selected inclusion in due hard ductile nature. L9 array Taguchi DOE perform experiments with like peak off time, pulse time current. revealed that, third level (Ni+Zr), 7A current, 9 ?s 2 specified condition. Pulse (Ton) was having high impact MRR Ra while performing operation steel. SEM analysis done find EDAX ensure presence inclusion.
